Liner Plate Shaft

A Liner plate shaft utilizes a series of flanged plates bolted together to form a ring. Additional rings are added as the shaft progress in depth. After the Liner Plate is installed, the OD of the liner is grouted to create full contact with the ground. Liner plate shafts are commonly used to install deep excavation in poor ground conditions. They are also able to accommodate underground obstructions as seen in the adjacent photo.
